Depends on what kind of programming jobs you want to do. E.g. Server side programming is totally dominated by Java, so if you want to do that, then learn Java. It is also used on Android so if you want to do Android development Java is a good choice. Swift is heavily used on iOS and OSX development, but is only gradually expanding outside. I suspect Swift will become more popular on the server side in the future but that is hard to predict. If you want to do mobile or desktop development then Swift is a great language. You can use it for writing apps with highly interactive user interfaces, games, productivity applications etc. Apple has lots of nice APIs for user interfaces, animations, 3D graphics, 2D animations etc.

Java🍵is easier and supported by major OS platforms whereas Swift is restricted to Mac OS and IOS.

Choice doesn't depend on how easy is the language to learn as it is totally subjective. If you have a Mac, swift could be an option. If not, I'd go for Java as your code will run also on windows and linux.
