Zen Ai Patrick Noulet has been with Sololearn for a while, probably inactive. I also believe he has posted this question on behalf of New Users.

Patrick Noulet Community courses are created and presented by community members. These courses usually provide insights and extra knowledge about concepts referred to within Sololearn, but not explained in detail. The community courses are a stepping stone to the greatest tool of the modern programmer -> The abilty to start researching answers to specific problems.

Well, as any other courses it helps you broaden your knowledge concepts you wish to learn such as NumPy for statistics, or data structures dealing with list and others In any case it will help you one way or the other, it's doesn't hurt to learn more things 🙃

Patrick Noulet Well most of them that I read got to be a quite useful insight before starting a new course, it eased my comprehension of some concepts As I never read cryptography I can't guide you on that but most of them were useful to me
