Lost progress on C++ course (after SoloLearn suggested I check out the new version)
I was doing a different C++ course when Sololearn brought me to a new C++ course. Well I donât like it + lost progres and need to start all over (after getting a popup message saying that wonât happen) + the new one lags + the original is better.

Sorry to say, but there is no going back. Welcome to the world of software development... this is like a simulation to get you comfortable with the ever changing, imploding and exploding world of IT. It's like Indiana Jones in the Temple of Doom. You hardly learned how to use this new framework, and it is already deprecated and went out of fashion.
This analogy is only a joke of course, but regarding the course, try to get used to it, because there is no way to get the old one back :)

I haven't done the new courses yet, so I don't know specifically if regex or itertools are covered. Based on the ToC you might be right that they are missing. Maybe at some point there will be a third advanced level course for those topics.
All the official communication is in this thread:

Codename Adam You should've tagged me if you want to mention me.
How to tag someone:
Press '@' from your keyboard -> search the name you want to tag-> click on their profile
I wonder why I can't mention myself, lol

Tibor Santa Before the old one getting deleted, I noticed that some lessons in the old course(such as Python Core) are not present in the new courses(Like regex, itertools, etc), are they deleted or were hidden in the lessons of the new ones?
