Why doesn’t the new update let the screen auto rotate?

Why doesn’t the screen auto rotate like it used to. Some of us are learning on tablets and it makes using an an attached keyboard easier (and more authentic learning) to complete tasks and running codes smoother without having to manually rotate the screen and then type sideways. Even now I’m typing with my head tilted just to ease eye strain.

Are you using Apple product (iOS device)? if so, then here you can see, some people had the same experience, let's just hope they get a fix on it ASAP
