Yeah I do and trust me it's a waste of time doing it in Python.

Why not just try Godot with gdscript?

The language syntax is inspired by Python too

I've written dozens of games. I recommend Godot. Agree with @RuntimeTerror completely. Godot is easy to learn and very capable.
