I am a super beginner

Hi coders, I'm 41 and just starting to learn coding. I'm starting with python. Is it a good choice? I'm not too old to start? 😅

Brilliant! Of course you are never too late to learn. There are a number of rewarding aspects to being a programmer. You gain a deep understanding of the technology of software. That in itself is rewarding. You sharpen your brain and that's a good thing. Python is a fantastic language for a few reasons. It's really good for data analytics. You can get tons of free datasets out there and practice making charts or answer deep questions about that data. Python is also a great way to learn basic programming concepts. It has a straightforward syntax and is capable of some pretty advanced stuff as well. Whether Python is your best choice depends more on what type of programming you want to do. For example, if you want to create websites, HTML/CSS/JavaScript will be core. If you want to write iOS or Android apps or perhaps build a nice computer game, those each have a language that suits those projects. Do you love data? Python & SQL. Each type of application tends to favor certain languages or frameworks. If you enjoy the process of learning, then you can explore a number of these languages over time and just enjoy the process of learning. That's my style. I just like taking courses and I round-robin through all the languages to keep myself sharp. Any idea what kind of programmer you want to be? What is your motivation for programming? We can give some friendly advice. :)
