What’s the best way to get a 7 year old leant coding and enjoy it

Same as learning anything else - make it interesting, personal, relevant and fun.

What the "best" way is, highly depends on the individual.

Perhaps you may want to try visual programming with the child:
https://scratch.mit.edu/

Or you could start with HTML and CSS.

If the child is curious and easily picks up the logic, you can, of course, directly start with one of the popular programming and scripting languages.

The story of people learning programming at 7yrs old is a myth. The minimum I can say is 12.

All a 7y old want to do is play game, eat and play the victim
