Keeping the current rate of progress in different technologies, would HTML be a relevant skill in around 10 years' time?

Web Designing.

HTML will always be "RELEVANT" in my opinion. We just might be seeing more and more template engines being developed.

We can not predict future. ;-) Just been remembering life 30 years ago... we couldn't even imagine some things that are around in our lifes now. And some other things we were waiting for are still not here. :-( (I'm not talking about flying cars or flying suites ☺)

html is the standard to define the content of a webpage. There are ways not to code html, but make it all in js, but behind of it it is all html, so i'd say that it will not be outdated any time soon.
