No one is perfect! Everyone has sins. Like people software has bugs/lacking too. You will need to make it better by solving problems/bugs and adding new features. There is no perfect software/project.

keep the project small but modular. So you can focus your attention in refining single modules instead of the "whole thing" everytime. OOP is a blessing in this sense. Perfection depends on how perfect you are....
