Linux Mint 18.1 and Windows 7. Dual booting.

Linux Mint 16 xfce, because my notebook is very very old and i have a usb with persistence for watch streaming videos or other "hard works" 🔥
I tried many different distro, my favourites are Zorin OS (light version, based on Lubuntu, very fast and similar to Windows) and Linux Mint.
The main OS is Windows 7.
And you? What are you using now? 😊

@Michael
i have searched before. nothing better than visual studio and net.framework for c#.
that is why i use dualboot.
not because linux is alternative but because windows is the alternative os for me.
anyway, i enjoy using python in terminal right now. so simple and so easy.
What distro do you like best?

Debian
usefull, a lot of feature, support server, stabil, and many more

Sorry, the question is for Linux users! I do not think those who use a dual boot know so well Linux .. You learn how to use and love Linux when it is the only alternative! (ok, I'm quite serious.. If you don't agree take it as a joke!)
Ubuntu 17.04 gnome3 on a laptop bought on 2009
(powerful on old computer and great repository of application to download without the need of compiling a byte of code..)
plus LUbuntu 16.04 Lte xfce on a virtualbox to run some services..

Recently switched to Linux Mint 18.1 MATE (from 17.3 MATE) because my laptop is old and it seems like a perfect match for it. And I have Windows 10 as well (dual boot).

@Michael
i want to learn many languages.
Can you tell how to learn C# without windows?

@Peter
Yes, your right.. Sorry I don't speak english very well.. I meant not the consent of the open source comunity but the number of C# developers on OS systems other than Microsoft..
@Calvin
Sorry, all my comments are off topic..

@Agus Mei you confirm my thesis!
Look at Google to find your answer..

Well, I was using Ubuntu because I'm on a pursuit of knowing in and outs of majority OS, but then I also met kali which was kinda better to ubuntu as it has more preinstalled apps as seen by me.

Hi @Agus Mei
sorry, I did not want to controversy .. I think a real linux user would never make choices against his philosophy. And perhaps this is why c#, although having great potential (more than java), has not yet obtained the consent of the open source community..

Zorin is the most beautiful OS I ever seen. You guys should take a look. 😍
Thanks @Maz for recommended it. 🤗

@Maz, thanks for the sharing. My workstations are all windows based win8 and 10.
Recently due to work requirements, I setup a Ubuntu to compile my C++ on Qt5 for running on my client Linux pc.

Lubuntu 14.04 LTS!
Has 5 years support period and stability and speed. LXDE is much lighter DE than various other mainstream DEs.
I might upgrade it to 16.04 someday but am happy with my current set up.

Ubuntu... Why? Because of its simplicity for beginners...

Hi @Peter David Carter, I think Centos is a good choice for building web server. Can I use Centos as a dev workstation?
