Hard work pays off

Question

At work we rebuild ALOT of pumps. each pump has 2 bearings, 2 seals, shaft, gaskets, sleeves, serial number, size, manufacturer, model #, impellar, etc.. When a pump needs rebuilt we go thru an ancient binder with ripped, greasy, half filled out sheets of paper with numbers for all this information. Tonight I finished a little project I have been working on. I now have a new app on my phone that saves pump information and loads it when needed.

I know, who cares. Nobody, but had to tell someone.

Half the guys don't even bother trying to find the information in the old binder. they tear the pump apart hoping they can still read the numbers on the destroyed bearings, seals, etc. lol.. One old guy has been asking for a computer for it for almost 20 years. luckily he has an android and will be getting a copy of my app
