How do you add audio to your html code from your phone?

I have been trying this for hours and nothing I'm doing is working. Here is sololearns code: <audio src="http://www.sololearn.com/uploads/audio.mp3" controls>
Audio element not supported by your browser
</audio>
That works fine, but when I replace the url, theres no sound. Justthe player. Can someone tell me what I doing wrong?

yeah,this is URL and yes Dropbox is good to save any kind of files including audio.
