Grab one opensource web app. try to understand it. add more functionality. Learn mvc, lavarel. Then actually develop one on your own.

My personal advise, do more tutorials based on the language you've learnt. explore more fundamentals of databases that goes with the choice of your language and dive into MVC development.

Make your own code on playground :)
or you can go to learn a little more bit about back-end. I recommend you to go through a sql and php :)
