Is Developing a website using python easier, faster, and stronger than using PHP?

cause according to what I read I think python is powerful hence I will prefer it when developing a website

It's... different ^^ And almost a taste question :P

Php is mainly web page template oriented, while Python is more web serving oriented... but finally you can reach the same goals ( templating and serving ) ^^
