ROBOTS!?

Do you think robots are cool!? I do! If you agree, post what is would do, and what language(s) you would use to program it.

I honestly think an Arduino or Raspberry Pi setup (C++ or Python) would be a pretty cool starter project.

Do you know about power beaming? If that technology gets good enough, forget those little inductor coils embedded in desks - the robot just has to manage to be nearby (not only to charge you, but to be charged...almost like a power relay).

I would make one like Wall-E. The bot would build and clean stuff. Make a lot of robot sounds. Have a large main battery to charge my laptop, and other stuff like my phone. I would probabley use C++,Python, or AML.

@Kirk sounds great. I have not used a Raspberry PI yet, but, I heard you can do alot with them.
