So my 3 month vacations just started and I was thinking of building a game. But do not know where to start.... I am familiar with c++ and Java but consider me a noob cause many things I am still learning.

Check out gamkedo for good tutorials. You'll want to start with a game engine like unity or unreal engine. Do some of your own research and decide what you want to use.

c# is used for unity c++ for more complex games a c++ game engine is unreal engine for java there is jmonkey engine but u can try also javascript with html and css using some nice web framework such as phaser or try with python with pygames
