Do I get it right? What's needed for Web pages

So since I finished the html course in an hour, I was looking at the other ones, wondering what to do next. And then I thought: is it right to say -html is the base for websites -php is for blogs (more or less, I'm new to it) -css is for the graphic/design side -javascript is for interactions and stuff? (I'll probably learn this next so I'll be more specific then lol) Oh and, exactly what's Python for?

Fair enough xD I'll do that. I'm an artist anyway so it should be fun. I was going for java as I actually wanted to use it for games/apps (I understood it's used for that too). Thank you for your answer!!

how would you learn JS while your website looks like a white sheet of paper with some scribbles on it. My advice to you is to first go through CSS then JS.

first HTML and HTML5 CSS and THEN learn JavaScript and then how to handle these three together.
