True or false? To be good at coding, you have to be good at Maths.

Hi friends, my friend who is a Software Programmer told me it's really a stereotype, but I'm still a bit worried. As an absolute beginner and terrible Math learner, I'm still looking for a best learning method. Please help. Thanks in advance - Mandy.

There are two sides to math, one is the arithmetic side, and another is algorithm. You dont have to be good in arithmetic side of math, in fact, you dont even need to know what 1+1 is since there is a machine to do so. But you definately need to be good at algorithm side, which means that even though you fail to calculate mentally what 1+1 does, you must know what does the '+' sign do.

If you want to be a programmer, you should know most of the things. Not just Maths and Physics. A good programmer should have knowledge about business management and other things too. For example, if the customer want you to code a program concerning with HR management, therefore, you should also have knowledge about it.
