A variable is like a box you put something in. You have to label the box so you can remember what's inside and find it again later.
Eg:
myBestToy = "dinosaur"
print (myBestToy)
*outputs dinosaur

5 years old????
Seriously????
In 5 years old. I didn't know how to play Logo O_O yet!!
In dictionary...
Compile is "convert to computer language"
(So compiler is "Tool for convert to computer language")
size is length?
int is integer. You know integer,right?
variable.....

You can think of a variable like a place holder for some thing (in memory), and the size of the variable is defined by its type.
for example :
int x;
means reserve 2 bytes or 4 bytes (depending on programming language you use ) in memory for (x).

@Nikhil it is she, not he
