Amazon has been losing millions ever since it started, yet it is still there! People are stupid and this hurts the business.

The question is why? Because the stock is not related to the company earnings, it is related to what people think the company is worth. The company makes a promise and investors decide if it is true or not, then they give them money based on that decision.

a company can survive on investment money only, but of course that can not forever be.
