React is a library. Angular (2+) is a true MVX framework. Vue is a microframework (sort of). Meteor is a fullstack framework. I use Angular for apps and without a true backend. instread, I use firebase.

I don't know for job but for personal projects my favorite framework is p5.js , for canvas projects it's the easiest out there to learn and can be really helpful in making web games . It also has other helpful libraries like sound library . So if canvas ( games ) --> p5.js

I would suggest you start with NodeJS. It has been immensily helpful to me and it has surprisingly many applications. I've used it to create an app's backend with ES6, while the frotend was done with JavaScript.

React JS has some learning curve but you want to make mobile app with web technologies then I would recommend ReactJS. most of the Reactjs code can be used both for web and mobile App(React Native). If you want to go with an easy and good framework then I would suggest VueJS. I have created a web app just simply reading the Vuejs docs. it's easy to learn.

Both Angular and React are both great, and I think we'll be seeing more and more of them. And NodeJS is the future 🤗👍

it totally depends on what you want to do.for examples jquery is very effective if you are really into the whole design situation whereas others like react are best suited for other functionality
