Have you heard about ELECTRON.? Anyone with advice can leave it down there

Its a new technology by the Github Community. Its a way of developing cross platform applications using web technologies. I only got to know about it a week ago.

If you are looking to create desktop app, i will say you should learn Electron. It will be a good start for you as a beginner and you wouldnt have to worry about other platforms like the mac OR linux. And also you will be good to dive into web programming since electron uses web technologies and with the same tools you use to write in electron , you can use the same languages to develop mobile apps without worrying about java or c#. That will be the best . YOu will have more time focusing on other technologies.

Its very interesting because you can use front end framworks in your app and you dont have to worry about linux or Mac platforms. you can straight away develop apps using html css and javascript .
