Future will answer you question. But being a new language (technically it's not new only when compared with Java), it promises a lot in future that's why mighty Google backing it.

So far my learning Kotlin journey is pretty smooth and easy, Kind of loving it.

Complicated task still need to program in Java, not Kotlin.
