If you are interested in application programming, then Start with c++. Its base programming language. Other languages will be simple if you start with this... Others are similar to this. I recommend you C++. Or if you're interested in Web developing, then start with the HTML. it's the best, then try CSS and JavaScript.

@Amaras A: I'm fan of Monty Python, but: - it's old, and there's very few chances than a 18 years old boy even knows them ^^ - the Python documentation have some references to them, not at all full of :P

If you have no previous experience whatsoever, start with Data Structures and Algorithms and do it with paper and pen. You might get frustrated at times, but once you are through with it, your foundation would be strong. Otherwise you can start with what others have mentioned, my choice would be C++.

I agree that Python is a good first language. The code is much shorter and you can focus on the concepts.

Just to mention it: if you like Monty Python, the Python documentation is full of references to them, when they can have it.

Python is hotter than c# at the moment. a lot of Tudors will tell you Python because it has tons of support in users and it can be used for anything.

there is language called Kotlin which is now the official language for android. that language is much good looking because of its simple syntax. but that language is also very powerful and supports java codes compiling too. you could try it , or java. both are great.
