So, should I stop and read JavaScript before continuing?

I guess the tutorial just mention it for further use. In the playground-area you can try the example they provide, but more knowledge about JavaScript is not needed if you want to complete this course. After the course it's useful to take the CSS and JavaScript course to build a website that does "something". As mentioned in the beginning of the course, html is meant as beginner course, so you don't need other courses before this one.

I know HTML very simple but, the tutorial keep mentioning JavaScript over and over again. It says basic knowledge of JavaScript is required to understand this and that. So should I stop and read basic JavaScript before continuing to the next part?
