Hi guys, which has more capabilities/potential/functionality, php, Node.js or Ruby on rails?

long time... I have a project in mind - a website really, that will require a wide range of functions from a back-end language. however, since I'm kind of an amateur here, I need to know what language to learn first. Please feel free to mention any other language you think I might wanna add to the list, thanks.

I think learning php first will be a hole lot of benefit because it will help you to understand the use of functions and their implementations, another one is Php is fun to learn so try your hand on Php first I think ones you learn Php learning js scripts or languages will be easy b/cos the share the same room together. there you will see Js function, use of variables and many other Php related functionalities. I have heard about swift I think try your hand that and also python.

I like Python. One of its frameworks that I know and that is really powerfull is Django. It allows you to make rich websites in a short time with database and user authentication included. There is another that is very eeasy to learn that is Flask. But it does not come with all the functionallity included as Django.
