What you think about Go Language and it's future?

Short Description: Go is a free and open source programming language created at Google in 2007 by Robert Griesemer, Rob Like, and Ken Thompson. It is compiled, statically typed language in the tradition of Algol and C, with garbage collection, limited structural typing, memory safety features and CSP-style concurrent programming features added. I'm conflicted on if I should learn C, Go, Rust, or D. I'd learn C but I want something modern just cuz.

As far as I've heard/seen Go is mainly used in Networking and Webserver, Automation and Command-line tools, Producing maintenance code. I haven't seen anyone use Go for system level programming or for Desktop GUI based apps till now that is.
