Can i learn python without learning java??

I know c language, c++ and basics of Java?? can I start learning Python now???

This is a discussion on if you can learn Python without learning Java... Answer : Yes, its. completely fine to do so. Python has no similarities in syntax to Java. Its more like ruby... But you don't even need to learn ruby before python. Thats why python becomes the first choice for many... Note : Why did you use c++ tag in this question, when it is only about Python and Java?

Even if you have no basics of java, you can start learning python and where to learn it from? Go for udacity app or web and take the course 'intro to computer science'. While learning python, you can create a search engine.

I started with python, know nothing about java. It's good that you are familiar with c++, I heard it makes it easier to understand python
