What is the use of comments in html.

In html the comments are not shown on the output and they also did make any changes to the output but whenever I html code by and programmer it always use comment in his/her html code.

You upload it on the Web.
Some months later you have to make a change.
Or your company gives it to another developer to make the change.
By writing comments it will be very easy.
Otherwise you will lose time. Which is equal to money.
