How was the first programming language created ?

I mean... for the first one, they didn't have any programming language to create it. That's like the Chicken and egg paradox 😂

Ever heard of hard coding and soft coding? Hard coding is when you go down to physical components and create circuits so that your computer can do a certain action. (I'd say this is the first coding language) Because the inputs they used back in the day was on paper, and it would take them hours to get an answer back. As time progresses they became professionals with hard coding and started making hardware that can store data, and instructions. These instructions then became what we know today as soft coding. They used it for basic things like changing text color, displaying directories etc. I say the first programming language was hard coding (also known as firmware)

I have no idea but I'd assume the first language would be like assembler (?) possibly using punchcards
