Size of an image is determined by the amount of different colors it has not just by its resolution . So , if you use an image with less colors it will be of less size without compromising the resolution .

By less colors I don't mean black and white , it has different shades of grey . The less the shades of colors , the less the size .

Try finding substitute of your image .
