A website running asp.net 4.0 not runs in 4 .5?

Question

I published a web site in in windows server 2008 installed with asp.net 4.0 and successfully running the site. but when the same published in windows server 2012 with with asp.net 4.5 showing internal server error. can anybody guide me please.....

We need a little bit more information to help you. Have you recompiled the code in dotnet 4.5? Does your website has dependency to external DLL? Are those DLL compiled with dotnet 4.5 What is the exact error code you are getting?

as per the error msg, deleted some portion of the code and it worked...thanks

I haven't recomoiled the code in don't 4.5.

This error is probably related to an error in your web.config file. Probably the error message, can give you an hint what is the error.
