Eclipse doesn't work. pls help

please first check your system bit 32 or 64

it's 64bit , the installation is complete.but opening eclipse shows error,says Java was started but returned exit code =13, and the application exists when I click ok

I had that problem many times. what pc are you downloading it onto? when downloading when message on bottom says run, save, click save. It should work. Then you need to pick a work place ( choose anything you want). Then it should work.

I would also suggest that you check the OS platform you might be running a 64bit IDE on a 32bit OS
