There were, are, and will be new languages, I read there are programming language named D, and F, maybe one day someone will come up with Z?

I basically agree that there's no "one p/l fits all" besides tech will always evolve, what we think is today's champ maybe gone tomorrow, nobody knows.

Instead of asking this, why not try some, and then go for one that you're comfy with. Mind also the trending, e.g today it is JavaScript that is widely accepted, at least that's what we see in vacancy requirement list. I'm not edging you towards JS, it's just an example.

In the end it is you who will code with that language of your choice, so my final words would be for you to keep learning, don't fear or reject changes, they will develop you (and your skills) better.
