I want to develop a app for Android... a game I am learning Java and c++ and Android studio, and was wondering if there was more that would help.

Your approch is good to learn app dev.
All the android basics will be in Java so it is a good point to learn how it works.
And for performance, C/C++ and the ndk associated will be good.
So all seems good BUT there is maybe some easy ways (you will learn less but you will produce results faster). There are framework like unity designed to produce games and it could be a better solution. There are a lots of tutorials to learn how use it.
