Why to go with nested comments?

we don't take anything in xonsideration between /* and */ so why to go for nested comments?

It's given here just to show even it s possible ...but, yes I totally agree with you that it's no where used.

it could be used when for example a method with single line comments is temporarily disabled by using a multi-line comment.
