What are the criteria to become Top Users?

The strategies used implement common sense. You use the app consistently, and consistently do whatever you can to learn from it. Compete via the challenges. Complete lessons. Post codes as your skill grows to share your progress with your followers. Answer/Ask questions within lesson-comments and on the Q/A forum.

Note that your goal should not be to rise to the top of the rank-list. Your goal should be to acquire the knowledge that is required to EARN the rank. You will rise to the top only if you help yourself by learning.

But if you do reach the top, I highly doubt you'd care about being a top rank, because by that time, you would be more impressed with the information and skills you've learned, rather than being impressed with how much attention you get on an app.
