Is anyone else learning coding through mind mapping on a piece of paper?

I find it easier to remember tags and what not through mind mapping and then practice on brackets /Sublime. A little strange considering it is a computer language.

I prefer open SoloLearn courses, search in StackOverflow or w3schools when I don't remember something functions or tags. I think it's a good practice because I can learn some new things that I never saw, but if I write what I learn on a paper I will never learn more than I've learned ...

I love w3schools.com but I prefer the information to be displayed or organised in a different way. In fact when I rearrange the info, I used w3schools as a reference.
