You never know when you may come across an old website on a job that uses it. Plus it takes less than two minutes to read up on.

Ya, all most popular browsers (chrome, ie, moz, opera) understand html5. But... Maybe You have to redesign old site version. So You are to modify html from frames to html5 edition.

yes because this is a HTML not HTML5 or HTML3 there other ways and more advanced ways but the numbered ones are new gen

Frames were taught in this course, because some web sites still use html4 so in order to understand their code frames must be learned.

I plan to understand frames, but not to use them. Knowledge is rarely a waste.
