There is only different applications and personal preference. No particular language is the best in everything.

There is no best language everything is good in their own way.
Java does amazing stufff
C++ is a damn fast calculator
Python is a slower but more powerful and easy-to-master language.

this is my own.. long answer ^_^":
it depends entirely on what you're planning to do; how it will be used in your career / future / coding / website hosting / etc, there's no truly justifiable reason besides how it works for you. like for example (i don't have these views) i would say that html is best for beginners of any kind, but somebody says 'python is good too for beginners, for syntax'. the pros and cons of a language fluctuate depending on their use.
