app development has very value. but java is hard for a beginner. you completed html I suggest you to be a web developer, has also value but not much as app development. keep in mind you have to be hard worker and Never Give Up 😎

@Dayve's answer should be on spot. It is important to know what you actually want to do with your programming skills. You went for HTML as if you wanted to do web development (which you can continue by progressing through CSS and JS), and now you are going for Java for who-knows-why. Try having a clear target in mind.

C++ and java are languages that open more possibilities than most of the other languages, but they are more complexe to learn... If you're able to learn them and in a good mood with those, you should then improve your skills by doing larger projects, and learn more by yourself online :)

You're welcome. After becoming web developer you can easily get work and earn money from these sites ----> Upwork, freelancer, fiverr, peopleperhour, guru etc. just visit one of the sites you will can see many people's posting many web related works,. will be little tough journey but don't give up, keep in mind if other can be a web developer/software developer, then I can also be. good luck 👏👏

I went to java for game development ( making a emulator ) , maybe asking what my target is would work :/ , and I first chose HTML fundamentals to upgrade my websites :/
