this word iteration is very confusing to me. please tell me its real sense

It's a 1 whole go of a repeating process. For example, if you change your job every year, you can refer to change as of 'starting new iteration'. And such a process is said to be iterative.
So in programming, iteration is either execution of a loop body or going through a sequence picking elements one by one (like in 'iterate over a list', and each piece would be called an iteration).
