What is the closest language to JS?

Hey guys, when I found this app I started with Html which dragged me to learn Javascript. I loved the syntax of it. As I am close to finish the tutorial, I would like to learn a language with a similar syntax to JS. What would you suggest?

but if you do know JS you will feel yourself at home in Java and C#
But you should try python too

It is TypeScript which is closest to JavaScript

jquery = js + library (or total framework it is not a language )

JQuery is a simpler version of JavaScript, you should probably check it out.

By similar I meant, the way the objects and object properties work, structure of loops and conditionals etc.
