sorry for interrupting the plot here, it's just so pleasurable being back with you sololearners after my phone was stolen. And after having said this I (maybe ) really can add something meaningful to the conversation. I'm wondering if the new os will be able to save all the personal data our phones, cause the old Android I had ( please don't ask me which ) could easily be tricked

lol i'm on 5.1
to me upgrade <= new device && >= nougat.
we are talking about v8.0(O) some 3 revisions of android from v5.1(L). let's not talk about 4.4(K) :P

my device works just fine. apart from a newer version of Android, faster smoother, more powerful hardware, better security there would not be much reasons for upgrade. new emoji's can be added to the list because alien sign language is a little awkward...
