Diferences between java and javascript?

if someone have an answer to new sololearners that never used java or js please answer that

If I understand it correctly they are two different things. Java can be run standalone (as in it's own program) where JavaScript is run using your web browser. The confusion comes from the similar naming, but that was sort of the point way back when JavaScript became JavaScript. Both are Object Oriented Programming (OOP) languages, but created by different people. Think of them as cousins in the programing language world, they both somewhat share a C type syntax, but JavaScript was created by Netscape and was originally called LiveScript. That is why JavaScript is a language used to create interactive websites, because it was created by a web browser company.
