How long to make an app like a "Music player" on android

You cannot seriously consider things as this: it's a big mistake to want to go directly for a big (or even medium) project, as you should acquire progressively skill by making very simple and little codes firstly, and little by little increase the size of projects...

Anyway, even if I'm not skilled a lot in android programming, a simple music player could be envisaged relatively quick in the learning stream of android, due to its built-in libraries concept, even if not at very first steps. But time to get it will be linked to your actual programming background, your motivation and your talent, and obviously, as @Michelle said, to the time you have to devote to the task ;P
