Syntax Error

Sorry for sounding dumb but, why is the code for hello world showing - SyntaxError: invalid syntax, in the code playground..???

I noticed it wasn't occurring when i was not putting ' >>> ' ...was it my mistake that I was putting it, or I wasn't supposed to put it in the 1st place. Thought I have to put it as it was in the description.
