I suck at challenges...
Anyone else feel this way? I started using Sololearn about 3 weeks ago and aside from some very very small improvement, I do really poorly when it comes to challenges. I know most of you will say "you just need more practice!" Maybe, but what if I'm not cut out for programming? how will I know if this is all just a waste of time or I'm doing something beneficial? At what point should one decide that programming just isn't for them? I want to hear your absolute honest thoughts and opinions. thank you

My honest thoughts are, you decide whether something is for you if you enjoy what you are doing.
Yea, it doesn't get anymore straight forward than that.
You can certainlly be a good programmer if you have more practice and take the time to understand things piece by piece.
You can also do the same thing for the following subjects:
Physics, Math, English, History, etc..
Really anything. Just takes time, and some subjects take more time.
The thing you should be thinking about is:
Am I enjoying the time I am putting into programming?
So, I think your time isn't waisted unless you do things you don't like doing.
For example
If you want to be a programmer for the money, but you don't like to program:
You'll be doing things you don't like doing in order to continue doing things you don't like doing.
And that sounds silly, if not depressing.
Although, since you are doing what you don't want to do in order to achieve what you want, you may need to factor in the thrill of getting what you want.
IE:
Is it worth being a full time programmer for the money, if all I want is the money?
Probably not, since the thrill of earning money isn't going to keep coming with a steady paycheck. So, maybe go into business instead.
However, you need to be aware that some things aren't as enjoyable if you do not understand them.
Some subjects you will begin disinterested in, until the light bulb finally turns on.
So, before you decide whether or not you enjoy something, make sure you understand it first. If you understand it and it's still boring, then that's when you move on.

I think you are not bad at all. You have just started with challenging and play against all sorts of players. Some have played so much that they can memorize all the answers. You should measure yourself against people with equal challenge experience.

And try to code.
