~My Review~ 9 / 10 Gives great information for beginners and intermediate programmers, introducing them to many different languages. Although, some information could be elaborated on. For example, how the 'new' keyword was explained / brought up in the Java course. (IMO) The community is great, with excellent moderators. With an app focused towards beginner's you can expect lots of spam/poor questions, these are posted often but are dealt with every time. I really wish there was some tutorial when you first open the app in the Q&A section that would explain or point at the search bar (repeated questions are posted daily). Certainlly unmotivating to answer the same questions over and over. 😛 The challenges are alright, with an experience system to keep people aiming for achievements (could be seen as both good and bad, some people spam for a badge). Lots of challenges seemed to test your math more than your programming skills, which I think was a bother for most. (Idk if it's still like that though, I don't really do challenges). However, challenges are actually submitted (and reviewed) by the community itself. The codeplayground is a great environment to allow people to practice coding on the app. I do however still recommend using something like an IDE. Code Playground has a few bothering (but understandable) limitations. With a way to follow people and create codes, people have a chance to share what they created and be complimented or helped in the comment section of the codes. There's even a 'code of the day' (Might make more sense to name it 'code of the week') for those who tried really to make (and made) an amazing code. This app is fantastic but I think there's still some room for improvement. Maybe we'll see cool new features in the future. ~How you can take advantage of the Platform~ Practice evrything you learn and try to apply it into program. Only move on to the bext section when you understand what was taught. Focus on learning.
