I have just completed learning HTML . What should I do next having completed this? Is CSS a good option?

CSS should be your next step because you learn how to design your webpage. Or you start with JavaScript to make your website dynamic and interactive. If you are familiar with all three languages you can make this: https://code.sololearn.com/WopE0331MmtI/?ref=app I hope you have fun and good luck with learning coding.

Try out to challenge other people to test your knowledge or write code in html. If you are familiar with it use CSS to design or use JavaScript to interact with your website.

Yes, CSS is a good option if you have already learnt HTML. Try to do it in this order: HTML➡CSS➡JavaScript➡JQuery➡PHP➡SQL➡Anything you fancy!
